What Is The Difference Between Chicken Tenderloin and Chicken Breast?
Are chicken tenderloin just chicken breast cut into strips? Nope!
Chicken tenderloin and chicken breast are two different parts of the chicken. The tenderloin is located underneath the chicken breast and each one typically weighs about 2 ounces. Like chicken breast, they’re white meat and they do have a similar flavor and texture.
The main difference is that tenderloin is often a bit more tender than chicken breast (though this does depending on the cooking method!) and it also cooks faster, due to the much smaller size.
